Sunlight, contrasting and miracle

- Lovely dappled sunlight on a wonderfully strange not-too-hot day...

- Contrasting with this freak (but fun) snowstorm we had in Atlanta on March 1.

"Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle ... a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."-- Barbara Winkler

Love the contrast shots! What a difference a few months make.

That Barbara Winkler quote is soooo true!

I just realized this weekend that I had two shots from almost the same spot.

It's almost hard to believe sometimes that plants and flowers are really going to come back. It is like a little miracle.

Yes, the contrasts are cool, the winter one "coolest" of all. Is that by your home?

Jannie -

It is from the sideview of my back porch at the condos.

That was a fun snow day and lovely that it happened on a Sunday during church. People could barely contain themselves.

What a contrast! I love the way ice looks on the trees.

Cathy -

And it was pure coincidence that I ended up with two photos from the same angle, but different seasons. I spotted the winter one in My Pictures. :)

Thank you for stopping by - I bookmarked The Clothesline and will be back. I like the natural solutions you post about.

That's the same view? What a diff- a little green makes!
Good way to cool off- looking at the snow-

The same view. I hadn't thought of the cooling off factor. Thank you for the idea!

We are silly about snow in the south. Two flakes fall and they close down the schools and everyone runs to buy bread. :)
