Enchanted cottage, his laughter and a good walk

- This enchanted cottage that is actually home to a landscaping business. It is across the street from a non-profit client and I love how they always have color in the front, no matter what the season.

- A coworker's laughter when I ask him if he watches "Dancing with the Stars." I like to make him laugh, just to hear his laugh - it's great. I explained that The Bangles were on the show Monday night and I thought he would enjoy them. More laughing.

- Parking a mile away from another client's office and walking there, so I can enjoy the cool morning air. And stopping on the way back to the car to pick up a sandwich for later. It's a good one: egg salad on one slice of bread, tuna salad on the other, with a dark green lettuce leaf in the middle. It's so pretty when cut in half and yummy.

Lynn~ That walk sounds delightful. We have had a cold front whip in hear and the rumor has it...we might see snow! Thanks for stopping by and so glad you liked the poem I am taking to my poetry group meeting this Thurs, A.M. Because my father-in-law has a myriad of medical appointments weekly, I am indisposed quite allot of the time (for now.) Sigh.

Fireblossom's comment is soooooo funny. You are really into color in the landscaping business and in your sandwich:) About all the laughing -- remember laughter is the best medicine.

They do the sand dance don't you know. :)

Yes - I am glad I had that walk yesterday - I woke to a hard rain this morning and the weatherman says cold temps are finally here. I can't believe it's time for snow already in the NC mountains.

That is a fine poem for your poetry group and you are a good daughter-in-law. (((HUG)))

Granny Annie -

I know! I love that song - it was so cool to see the middle aged Bangles on DWTS.

The coworker I speak of has been sad lately and is just now coming out of it a bit. He and I like to make each other laugh - I'll walk by him and he'll ask me if I'm planning to go to the tractor pull this weekend. :)

Enchanted indeed! I can smell the baking pies wafting from the windows here.

Kelly has "Manic Monday" in her iTunes. Great song!! I like "Eternal Flame" a lot too. But alas, am one of the only 2 peeps in America who do not watching Dancing...

Ahhh, I bet his laugh is awesome!! You should take a jokebook, and recite them off to him. :)

Manic Monday. And walking in the cool weather. I like hearing a good laugh. No one laughs in my office. :)

Jannie -

It was a Manic Wednesday in my world today. Glad to be home. :)

A jokebook - a good idea!

p.s. You know it! A Big Bud for you. :)

Riot Kitty -

I adore that sandwich. So good. Hope you get your egg salad!

If no one laughed in my office, I'd make it my mission to make them laugh.

It was good to see the middle aged Bangles. :)

I would have never gotten that photo, but traffic was backed up far and I was able to snap away. I've always loved that cottage.

That sandwich DOES sound yummy...and what's wrong with The Bangles? The chicas and I performed "Walk Like an Egyptian" at the karaoke restaurant years ago. It was so much fun...especially when you add the dance moves!

Lovely cottage, btw. I love color outside a home. Unfortunately I have too much shade in my front yard, nothing grows. :/

Nothing's wrong with The Bangles - I just was messing with my friend who only likes country music. :) I'll bet that song would be so fun to sing in Karaoke.

Sometimes I help out in the back and he loves to blast country music (thinking he's messing with me), but I secretly like it. :)
