- What a difference a few hours make. This photo taken while huddled with other outdoor theater goers and the musicians for Shakespeare in the Park under the eaves of the restroom building. The rain only got heavier (with some lightning in the distance), so we bailed out and headed to the car and had our picnic there. :)
- Comments on facebook this morning: "We have an awesome audience and actors - we are doing the show in the rain with umbrellas!" "It was Shakespeare in the Ark!" My friends and I opted for dessert at an on the way home restaurant instead and a little discussion about Much Ado About Nothing - which we've all seen before. So it all worked out.

Our weather too has been changing hourly but for the next couple of days we are supposed to have sunshine. WooHoo!
Yeah, when the lightning starts you wouldn't see me for dust either, Lynn! :)
Isn't it strange we are having wonderful sunny weather here in the UK. I've just come back inside from chilling out in the garden.
The roses bushes do look beautiful.
Hi Lynn .. such a pity about the rain - crumbs the heavens open at the most inopportune time don't they! Yet as you say rain is necessary and life giving ..
So pleased you had a fun time .. cheers Hilary
Lynn - there is more rain coming! sandie
How versatile! I love "Shakespeare in the Ark." That is hilarious!

I'm getting a little too used to walking under drizzle or an umbrella. Must have sun now.

Thank you - and they weren't convinced even when the thunder was loud and nearby.

I'll bet it's beautiful there right now.

In spite of everything, I had fun. But it's always nice to come home to my peaceful haven.

Yes - I heard. :)
I know - those were some diehard fans to sit through that in the rain.
Ha! Shakespeare in the Ark. I just passed through GA on my way to FL and the rain was continuous. Rain brings the lushness of spring and closes down the show. I appreciate a positive attitude. Great fb status. :)
It's incredible they continued on...! I mean, at some point things are "called" because of rain....!
It sounds like you made a very good decision.....
Watching GOLF on Sunday, it was pouring there----And they played on...! I felt COLD and WET just watching it on the telly....lol!
Thanks for your very sweet words, my dear....It means a lot!
You're having rain like we are!!! School was canceled here yesterday due to the RAIN! (Too many wash outs on mountain roads where buses go!!)...Raining again today! :-0

You sure get to go on a lot of good trips. :)

We had a burst of sun in the afternoon - so I'm hopeful I can get a walk in today.
You're welcome - your beautiful song (and voice) made me think of the tapestry of my own parents' home. Your song stayed with me yesterday.

Life in the mountains - snowed in or rained out. :) We know it's beautiful most of the time though.
Surprised there was no chant ala Neil Young of "No rain, no rain, no rain, no rain!" before the concert continued. :D
{On a Neil Young album called "Live Rust" during one of the songs it started to rain nearby, so just before the song started, Neil commented on it and had everyone start chanting "no rain, no rain".}
Cool FB status update.

Kind of like college football games, when the band plays "Sweet Caroline" and the crowd sings "so good, so good, so good!" I loved it when they honored him at the Kennedy Center and they did that there, too.
Those are such pretty roses! Ours aren't budding out yet. I bet alot of events were postponed in the deluge they reported near Atlanta. Sorry you missed your play- Funny Ark joke!
You've just reminded me that I meant to take my camera with me when I went out yesterday!!!
