- Piles of pumpkins in front of the Whole Foods at Briarcliff last evening, a bit after 7pm. I ended up working late to get a project out and decided to treat myself to takeout. I love the elements of fall like this.
- The sky changed so much in the 10-15 minutes I was inside. It looked like brushstrokes. A peaceful moment before making my way back home.
Have a lovely weekend, y'all!

I've enjoyed your same crescent moon when I take Henri out each morning.
Good choice for dinner! That's a nice assortment of pumpkins there.
Lee -
That's neat to think about - you walking Henri under that same beautiful moon. And the highlight of the take out from the hot food bar at WF was broccoli and cauliflower gratin. Yum.
Hi Lynn - sounds like a lovely evening - achievement of your project. Sometimes a take out makes life easier doesn't it ...
I suspect your planet - might be the North Star ... aligned at that stage with the crescent moon - lovely photos and those pumpkins ... a great time of year for oranges, plums and ruby colours - let alone fruits and veg ... cheers Hilary
Lovely shots!
I always like seeing a thin crescent moon in the early morning.
Love your skies. And am always amazed at how quickly the sky changes. Still beautiful, always different.
So... what did you have for dinner (your take-out is our take-away). Yummy broccoli and cauli, what else?
You have a lovely weekend, too, my dear......Those Pumpkins look like they have some kinds of Bumps all over them---I've never seen that before! Hard to believe that Halloween is just around the corner....!
Pumpkins and gourds are on full display at my local WF also!! Love it.
Thanks everyone for coming by. Hilary - the North Star! That's probably it. Love that. And Elephant's Child - I also had roasted potatoes and sausage and peppers. Yum. Naomi - leave it to Whole Foods to have interesting pumpkins!
beautiful skies.
I love pumpkin pie and pumpkin soup
A sickle moon
A pumpkin pile
The sky is gray
No heart runs wild
When I was last in the States I had Pumpkin pie for the first time, in McDonalds, so that probably wasn't a good place to try it, but still I liked it!
Love the moon shot. I hope you had a good weekend, and I hope this is a good week for you!
I like those bumpy pumpkins. Although I wouldn't want to try to carve one; I can only imagine the bumps would make that more difficult.
I can just picture someone from a Peanuts cartoon jumping in that pile of pumpkins :)
Hopefully my bumpy-pumpkin pic makes it to blogger next week- Those are so cool!
