- The male goldfinches are molting and turning golden - right on schedule. Click to enlarge. OK - hard to see them there on the feeder, but trust me - there is definite golden-ness! :)

Boats and water...Hmm, what could it mean?! We save these snippets of fortune and drop them into kitchen drawers and inside of books. Months or years later, I'll run across them and be intrigued all over again : )
You know you are supposed to add the words "in bed" to the end of each fortune...

I wish it could mean one of those Viking River Cruises that I constantly get promotional booklets for in the mail. :) I'll bet that's not cheap.
That's neat you do that - I put them in a little pottery vase and do the same.

They have a nice, not too sweet, almondy taste. A good ending to the spicy Chinese dish I like.
I do love my goldfinches, robins and cardinals. And it's time to put up the hummingbird feeder!
