Smiles, blossoms and relaxation

Friend Laura's dog Mac - who clearly loves her very much.  And it was a special treat for him, to walk with us at the park without his very boisterous younger sis.

The blooming Bradford Pear tree at the library.  I was parked underneath it and went home with little white blossoms on my car.

A water main line broke in my county a few days ago and we were under a boil water advisory, which affected local businesses.  My favorite neighborhood pub had to use plastic ware while that was going on.  I didn't mind and enjoyed the view of my village's main street while waiting for a friend.  The plastic cup reminded me of college days and Mardi Gras.  :)

It's Friday!  Yay.  I hope you have a great weekend.

Hello Lynn, I seem to be having problems with blogger and google. Your first photo is missing and I have been having problems commenting. I hope this goes through. I love the pear blossoms. Sorry about the water main problems, I hope all is well now. The outdoor pubs are nice. Have a happy day and weekend!

My dog Slim (age 12) loves any time she can get away from sister Frankie (age 2) for time alone with me. Slim and I are the old women in the family and Frankie is the little girl who keeps us active.

It would feel grand to have my vehicle dotted with flowers. Did you feel royal?

Plastic is supposed to be a no-no these days but if they serve to remind us of fun days that is okay.

Our Bradford Pears have lost their flowers- and I took a picture of it and called it GA snow and put it on my blog - people thought it was snow. Glad I am in GA.

Your first two photos are heart-meltingly beautiful. Thank you. I hope the water woes are firmly in the past.

Hi Lynn - love Mac and also the pear tree ... love the blossoms - they're beginning to come out here - but further south (a little) in Victoria they are well on their way out. Enjoy the weekend - lovely here ... cheers Hilary

That blue sky in the blossom shot! Here in the UK we are having more snow and the sky is white. Very depressing. Glad I came here to see your cheerful post! Happy Weekend Lynn.

Your posts are so relaxing and your photos, too. Those cups remind me of Irish pubs. Hope you're having a great weekend, my friend!

Nice to see that someone is enjoying nice weather and blooms on the trees because that sure isn't the case here in Nashua, NH. After 2 recent back to back snowstorms, cold and windy weather has returned. A few weeks agoi we had super warm days and folks were walking around in t-shirts and shorts, but those days are gone for awhile. Mac looks like a sweet dog.

Beautiful retriever!
Nice pear blooms pic also- This year I finally started eating the mini
pears on the tree on the front corner. Didn't realize it was edible for years, now I crave them. Maybe I can see the blooms this spring, in a few weeks/months.
We've been lucky with local water this year.

Hope you had a great St Patrick's Day week-end!

LOVE golden retrievers. They have the best personalities. Wish my living situation permitted dogs. I'd get one immediately
