- Day three of my return to walking in the park, on a light filled lovely day.
- A friend and her husband were engaged on this spot in the dog park area of Tanyard Creek Park. On this day, the park was filled with neighbors, assorted romping dogs and baby strollers. A blue sky, 70 degree afternoon dedicated to living life.
It's day 12 of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. Three things that gave me pleasure. Happy Friday, friends - hope to see you here tomorrow!

Being engaged on a bridge must be a wonderful memory for Martha- Here we have tons of memorial benches. Such pretty green in your pic of the park- I guess the pollen has subsuded a bit by now? We're just beginning-
You're so good at finding those special spots n times to savor, n good at your letter challenge too!
Looks a lovely park, and what a sweet story about Martha and Bill.
L is such an inspiring, happy word, as evidenced by this post!
You bet I'll be here tomorrow! Well, I think I will.
You must be getting in fine spring shape.
xo
Between you and my friend Monica at Changes in the wind, you've got all the important "L's" covered. Your love, light, life and her laughter" This A-Z challenge is great and I am truly enjoying all the posts you have done. Of course I enjoy your blog all the time anyway, so what's new? LOL
Love is definitely in the air in this park. Sweet letter for a foreboding Friday the 13th. :)
What a beautiful blog for "L" today. But I think "L" is for...
Lynn.
:-)
Have a great day and a wonder-filled weekend also.

Yes - the pollen is way down - in the 100s today. Not as much yellow dust! Maybe I can even get my car washed this weekend.
Thank you for saying so - I've enjoyed the challenge so far.
Paula -
It is lovely - I thought I'd post more about the origins of the park on the P day. :)
Joanne -
Thank you - there are lots of good things associated with the letter L. I tried to insert a video after the fact of that Kid's Song La La La La, but couldn't get it to do right.
Jannie -
I hope so. Spring shape - that all depends on what fine means to you. :)

Granny Annie -
Monica and I have gone back and forth a little on our challenge posts. I'll make sure to go by there today. I've had such a busy week that I'm way down on my blog visiting.
Thank you and I always enjoy your visits and comments, too! Thanks for being so faithful to come by.

Beautiful thoughts here today. I was drawn to your blog because of your profile picture. Did you sketch that eye?
Sweet post, with a bitter-sweet memory of a young man taken too soon. Lovely photos!

It's my favorite place to walk. :)

No - I found that eye in some clip art a few years ago when looking for an avatar image. My eyes are blue and look similar, so I chose that one.
Susan -
Yes - it's a lovely story.
Love, light and life...three of the best things ever invented.
I love your nature shots. All your pictures tell beautiful stories, my friend, and I look forward to the next set.

What a sweet sign!
All three of your Ls were just lucious. My vote would go to the first though. How nice to have loved someone that much and for him, to have been loved like that.
Thank you.
Scarlet -
That's my goal - to tell a story, but sometimes it comes out as a hodgepodge. :)
Tonja -
Thank you!
Sandie -
Laughter would have been good, too and yes, Lynn. :)
Mama Zen -
The light was shining just perfectly on that tree. I should always walk around with my camera.
Damyanti -
Yes - we're getting there!
Riot Kitty -
Thank you - I thought so, too.
The Elephant's Child -
I agree. Sigh. I see it, but it has eluded me.
such a beautiful park. makes me want to go there. looks like a great place to go for a walk/run/or for whatever.
i love Love for L, and of course...Lynn!
xoxo
Hi Lynn .. what a great sentiment .. and no wonder they want "their place" to be remembered ... the park looks glorious .. cheers Hilary
Thank you for the information. I've recently begun walking in this area, and had wondered about the sign (sadly, the lower one has vanished since you posted this). I've been doing a quick silent water bottle toast to Martha & Bill as I pass it.
