- Verisimilitude - isn't that a lovely word? I couldn't think of any more "V" things, except "View" and I've done that plenty in the challenge and just called it other things. Here are the particulars from A.Word.A.Day:

It's very fast paced in the line to order food there. They call out, "What'll ya have?" I always get a dog and rings.

That's a once in a while thing for me - The Varsity. :) Quite fun.
I wonder what they would call a Chicago Hot Dog at the Varsity? It has relish, sweet pickles, dill spears, hot peppers, onions, tomatoes, mustard.
Vintage pictures always capture my attention.
Love the new word "Verisimilitude" and will attempt to use it sometime this week.
Can you believe the challenge is almost over? I'm going to miss reading these.

verisimilitude is one of my favorites!
We visit The Varsity in Athens, on the corner of Milledge Avenue and the Atlanta Hwy, about once a year. My youngest brother got married in Athens and had The Varsity cater the reception. My children were so impressed!

A yellow dog walking would be my choice. The Varsity sounds wonderful. Even though I work at a college, there is no college town around it. Verisimilitude, what a GREAT word. :)

I guess that area around Georgia Tech doesn't seem much like a college town either. My home town of Milledgeville, Georgia is very much a college town though.
