- This chocolate bunny was purchased with the intent of putting it in a surprise Easter / spring bag for my accountant, who cut me such a deal on my taxes. But until then, I like the way it looks just sitting around my place.
- A yet-to-be-burned candle (also pictured above) called Southern Pear. The "scent of slowly ripening pears." It already smells good.
- Stopping by the little market next to the Greenway park after my walk on Saturday morning and having a discussion about grits and the best way to prepare them with the shop owner. I am looking for a certain type of grits for a recipe and he promises to look for them for me. He says, "You are making me hungry!" as I leave. I was, too, but enjoyed the discussion.

Is your accountant going to get the pear candle as well as the chocolate bunny? Our accountant is just going to get a great big check!
Love grits and especially love garlic-cheese grits.
I want to hear more about these special grits!
Love pears, bunnies, chocolate and reading your blog! :)
Yum yum! I love candles.
Love the foil wrappings on Lindt chocolate! It does make a nice decoration.
I just opened a new bar of soap for my kitchen sink that is pear scented. Which reminds me, pear flavored jelly bellies are the best!
He is a fine bunny indeed.
GRITS - girls raised in the south. We had "breakfast for supper" tonight, including grits with cheese. Yum!
Lindt chocolate is always a treat. Could you tell me about grits please? I have read about them, but no next to nothing about them and how they are served.
Lucky accountant to receive such a treat! He is cute. Spiffy plate too. I have a Cinnamon-Apple unburned candle. One of the few fragrances that doesn't give me an allergy head-ache. I wonder if Pears would be another? Maybe-
You make me hungry alot- you really know the good stuff to eat! I've still never had grits yet either!

No - that candle is all mine. Spotted at a favorite little antique place that is open early on Saturday mornings. I could have chosen a scent called Sweet Tea, but liked this one the most.
Me, too. Read on to my reply to Sage. :)

Here's the link: http://www.goodgrits.com/print/1103
There's a restaurant in Seaside, Florida, called Great Southern and their grits were DIVINE. I was lucky enough to find the recipe (see link.) They would be a once in a while treat, due to the heavy cream, etc., but oh so good. I found the brand Dixie Lily grits by Googling, but I am not sure which to order - the corn grits or quick cooking grits. (I'm used to hominy grits.) I'd love that local merchant to stock those, since he specializes in Southern delicacies.

Me, too - especially when the scent lingers.

Me, too - I'm seeing these around this year, so had to buy one. Your soap sounds lovely.

My sister has a t-shirt that says that. :) Last night was a good night for breakfast for dinner, with all the rain and blowing winds.
Good to see you.

I see a blog post coming with photos of cooked grits. :) Grits are ground corn or hominy (in the corn family) - apparently from Native American origin. They are cooked like a porridge so they are mushy. We like them with breakfast here in the south, but they are often served with shrimp at dinner, too. I love them, especially when seasoned just right.

I wish I could have you all to brunch!

Hello - there you are! I hope it will be scrumptious. Lindt is so good.
That plate was purchased at a little antique mall near my house, but it is not old. Just a painted wooden plate. I loved the color.
I should publish the photos of my photo shoot with the bunny - this was about the fourth place I tried. :)
I thought you were going to say
"This chocolate bunny was purchased with the intent of putting it in a surprise Easter / spring bag for my accountant, who cut me such a deal on my taxes. But I ate him".
:D. Love the Lindt chocolate bunny. :)
