- Love the sentiment on this car tag. :) Taken on Friday afternoon at the mission parking lot while there for a meeting.
- A heart clutching sweet moment on Saturday morning: 18-year-old neighbor Corbin (who is blind and autistic) calls out to his departing dad, "I love you!" "I love you, too, buddy."
- At book group on Sunday evening the hostess (who has a wonderful late-in-life second marriage), says she and her husband have an wedding anniversary tradition: they have lobster at home and watch the film "Amadeus." Lovely.

All good things and I love the licence tag! Serendipity that you saw that one, Lynn! :)
Hi Lynn - such a wonderful thing to hear from Corbin - if only more of us would follow his example ... and his Dad's example in life ... so pleased to read it ..
The car tag, and your hostess's traditions ... lovely to see too ..
Cheers - these sorts of things make our hearts sing ... Hilary
I love to ponder "I AM'.
We have so much to learn from those who are disabled, don't we?
Your three are all so lovely today.
You have a talent for finding the good in everything. I love that!
All three gorgeous - and inspiring. Thank you.

I think so, too. :)

His mom and dad have been divorced for a long time, but amicably. They truly co-parent Corbin and share their time equally. Corbin is an award-winning bagpiper. One of them marches with him to steer when he plays on the field with the Atlanta Pipe Band. And he dreamed of going to Scotland, so they took him. They are truly awesome.

The Elephant's Child -
Thank you!
This is one of my favorite 3 things you have ever featured, Lynn.
So cute...yes, wherever I am, good things indeed happened :) For example, when I walked into an empty shop, a few people will also walk into patronise the shop hahahha...
The perfect plate for your car- Nice Camaro! (too bright foe my taste). All kids should tell parents they love them n not be shy about it- I haven't seen the film Amadeus. Nice to know There are second chances that go so well...
That should be your tag!
We have a high school football player and power lifter do some work for us occasionally. I was outside one afternoon when his dad brought him. "Love you son." the dad said. "Love you too" the son replied. That's the way my son is with his boys and his daughter and I love it when men aren't too macho to say "I love you."
Sweet post and nice tag! I agree with Annie, it should be YOUR tag!
Isn't that your car? I love the traditions!

Yes - I am happy to hear of a happy second marriage, too.
It's not my car - just one I spotted with that awesome tag.
Granny Annie -
That's wonderful and the son will be a better man for it.
Your son sounds wonderful with his children, too.

I guess I'd have to go to that truth church to get it. :) I am staunchly Presbyterian though.

No, I drive a rather pedestrian beigeish Toyota Camry. :)
She said that is a film they both like very much and so, the tradition of watching it every year.
Wow that guy yellowing that out to his Dad would have chocked me up too!
Very cool car! And the number plate is too! :D
Joe -
Corbin is so delightful - his mom says that when they leave the house he sometimes says, "'Bye Lynn!" in the general direction of my condo.
lobster?? Who said lobster??? I could eat 2 lbs by myself in one sitting -- of the pure meat, that is.
Yes, LOVE the license -- made for YOU!! Fun!
xoxo
Jannie -
