More from the Florida gulf, gardens and the beach

- Are y'all tired of Seaside, Florida yet?  I took so many photos that I just had to share some more.  One lone person braved sitting on the beach there in 40 degree weather - all bundled up, I'm sure.

- We saw these fountains made from big ceramic pots everywhere.  This garden courtyard was lovely.

- Loved the shadow on the wall here and that someone left a dish out for a kitty.

- A beautiful, serene place with a Mediterranean feel.  The town was used for filming the movie, The Truman Show.  Now I need to go back and watch that again.

- Back at the beach, this bird posed patiently while I fiddled with my camera.  Click to enlarge.  :)

- Beauty amid the dunes.  Sigh - I love that place.  I'm a new fan.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  I've got a good book, Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, that I can't wait to read.  There's beauty in being at home, too.

These pictures make me long to be by the sea (or gulf). I love the one with the dunes and fences.

The sand dune shot is lovely. Well they all are. I loved The Truman Story. How can anyone tire of images like these? (Is tire the right spelling, it looks wrong?)

that last photo is so gorgeous, I would print and frame it, Lynn, and put it somewhere where you could go to that place any time you liked! :)

Gillian Flynn...didn't she write Sharp Objects? If so, I'll have to check out the book you're reading. I really like her work.

Your pictures are beautiful. It's great to see Florida through your eyes.

These are lovely. The blues are so...blue!

When I lived near a beach (Lake Ontario) my favourite time to visit it was during cold weather. It's so much better to have it all to oneself! (Although I didn't mind sharing it with a handful of intrepid dog-walkers.)

Thank you - it exceeded my expectations. I had not been to that part of the Gulf before - just St. George. Loved it.

Joe -

Yes - I believe you wrote the word tire correctly. :)

Sandie -

I didn't have much of a peaceful week, so remember the peaceful weekend fondly. :)

Granny Annie -

Thank you! I just go by instinct - I've never had any training, but I love to shoot away...

Talon -

I might just do that - thank you!

Joanne -

It was wonderful. I love that book, too. I'm reading more this afternoon.

Riot Kitty -

Thank you for not being tired of it. :) Highly recommended as a place to visit.

Ily -

I don't know - I'll have to check. This one has been on the bestseller list for weeks and weeks.

Thank you - a different part of Florida than yours, but just as lovely, I think.

The Elephant's Child -

Thanks for coming by - I know you have your hands full these days.

Leonora -

My favorite color, too. :)

Sparkling Red -

I hear it's 85 degrees there this weekend. So funny to think of the difference. I didn't mind the cool weather at all.

40 F is really cold for Florida! Still nothing beats how it feels to spend time at the edge of the ocean- I like the garden. Looks like a fountain to drink from. I wonder what kind of kitty the bowl belongs to... Maybe he's hunting the little bird.
I always wonder why those little fences are in the dunes- great pic!
Sorry so late- keep falling asleep before commenting-

It's OK - I'm glad you came by when you did. I never saw any stray cats at all, but that must be what the dish was for.

That dune shot should be in a magazine! All these are just lovely, Lynn. wow, 40 degrees, chilly for FL, eh?

These shots really shine! Would NEVER tire of seeing your pix. You have the eye and heart that make them not only artsy, but very soulful.

I think I lucked out at being there at the just the right shimmering moment for that one.

Thank you, my friend.
