- The dinner, from two Saturday nights ago, was my dinner group from church friends. I refused help cleaning up - I like to put some music on and do it methodically. I was inspired to snap this photo of the aftermath though. It was nice having friends around my usually quiet table.
- Friend Janice brought her puppy to our walk last Saturday - his first walk on a leash in the park. He loved everyone and everyone loved him. Here, he had spotted a rabbit - I loved the bemused look he was giving it.
Have a lovely weekend, my friends!

Hi Lynn - so pleased you had such a happy time ... and yes a glass of wine is needed at times. The puppy looks a delight - love his colour ... I bet he'll be turning heads for a while yet ... what fun ...
Cheers and have a blessed Memorial weekend - Hilary
Shouldn't EVERY day be National Wine Day? Or at least once a week!
How I love hearing and seeing that you had such a lovely time. Wine o'clock has been a boon here more often than I care to admit...
Love the shot of your dinner table!
My kids brought me some Barefoot Sweet Red wine and I have fallen in love with it. I do not like for people to help me clean up the kitchen and I do not like to help clean up their kitchens. That is a pretty dog and has a majestic tail.
What a beautiful-looking dog...so happy with his lot by the looks of him! :)
I rarely entertain these days but when I do and when I did, I preferred to do the cleaning up afterwards myself...after my guests had left.
The wine looks inviting. :)
There's a "jolliest Wednesday of the year"? Shouldn't it be the one just before Christmas?
Puppies + bunnies + good weather = THE BEST
Cute dog!
Looks like good friends n eating for you- I barely have time n always eating crackers on the fly here - The puppy may think it's a new buddy, not bunny! How cute
Sweet puppy! Although he may be thinking the rabbit looks like lunch.
