you said Is, treasures and looking forward

- e.e. cummings. A poet with a joyful perspective on life.

- Sitting in a gracious woman's living room and admiring her collection of china figurines, reminding me of things my grandmother treasured.

- A young lady at Chick-fil-A having great patience with someone who doesn't usually order fast food, saying, "It's Wednesday - you have two days to go before the weekend." Looking forward to that.

Cathy -

I liked it, too, and snapped a photo of it when I saw it in a garden shop so I could mull over the meaning. What a surprise to find that it is from an e.e. cummings poem.

Mama Zen -

This is turning out to be such a busy week that it will be the weekend before I know it. :)

e.e. cummings work is gorgeous.

Time only seems to fly when we're having fun!

The title of the poem is so interesting, too. "you said Is"

Love the fog (except driving in it) and you do sound busy...

Wow, sounds like the rain is busy being, not trying to be?

Jannie -

It boggled my mind - so I snapped the photo to mull. But not sure if I understand it. But lovely words...
