- Mr C's: running out of neon and the letter L, but up on current events. :)
- Rounding up the ingredients for my favorite decadent little lunch: brie cheese, crackers, walnuts, grapes and pear slices. It feels like a picnic in the country, except it is at my desk.
- An email from a friend, in which she cheerfully goes on at length about a controversial subject and then at the end: "Don't try to type after margaritas!!"

Writing while feeling "mellow" is definitely not a good thing.
I used to do that, and sometimes I would come up with the most amazing amount of gibberish that you've ever seen.
G -
I know! Sometimes I email with a glass of wine in me late at night and then when I read it later think that I should have thought that through before sending. :)
Mr. C is my hero!
Mama Zen -
How do they come up with this stuff? :)
drinking and emailing is dangerous... so is drinking and blogging!
love the sign. That balloon was stunt was insane.
Oh my goodness, they are funny, that meal sounds like an amazing feast and I guess you were talking about healthcare?
I agree on not writing blog posts while drinking -- but tipsy commenting can be fun. I'm not currently tipsy, tho - it's not even noon! Must wait until 12:01. :)
i seed on teh newes that boy in balloon was just a hoaxed. i amm not emprissed wit that stunnt. i was werreed sicke ober litle boy.
Cookie -
I do believe that balloon stunt was indeed a stunt. Some hefty fines are coming their way, I think.
Jannie -
No - no healthcare. It's 12:01pm somewhere. :)
Blue Bunny -
I almost forgot about you. I only heard about the balloon boy after the fact, but I heard that was big news for a couple of hours. I am not emprissed either!
I've actually written a blog post under the influence, pressed the post button and then gone to bed. Got up in the morning and looked at my blog and almost passed out at what I've written! :D
Fortunately it was in my early days when I was young and immature. That would have been a couple of years ago then! :D
Joe -
You are funny. :)
lol @ Mr. C's sign. He's missing an "L" while balloon boy's parents are missing important brain cells!
Your lunch sounded perfect!
I'm not a big drinker, maybe a glass or two of wine a month at most, so I've never been had any
margarita fall-out - lol!
Cheerful! Thanks. BTW, my last name is Milwaukee ;)
Talon -
I think those parents were missing some brain cells indeed. I chuckled when the little boy sold them out on TV. Kids are just way too honest to keep secrets.
Riot Kitty -
That is a great last name! And a very unique one that you picked out for yourself. There must be an interesting story behind that.
Awesome. Yes, margaritas do not mix with typing -- or communications of any kind, really ;)
Gosh, I'll have to try that lunch sometime. You are a true gourmet! This time of year I love to mix the tastes of walnuts, pears, and blue cheese. Goes really well atop a plain -- and seasonal -- spinach salad.
Meredith -
I make a salad like that and put a lemon dijon mustard dressing on it. So good.
Not so much a true gourmet - usually for lunch it is whatever frozen meals are on sale. This week it was Healthy Choice steamers. :)
I wonder how much meat laof another "L" would cost?
Wish my teeth could still chew walnuts- I miss them-
I had an epic (5-hour)phone conversation with Lil Sis last night (No internet) near the end she admitted to be drinking tequila! (No wonder)
Snaggle -
LOL - maybe I should gift Mr Cs with another L. :)
Wow - you and Little Sis must have had a lot to talk about. Very cute that she admitted to the tequila. :) Sisters are great, aren't they?
