Multitasking, dream and nice is easy

- A lot of activity on Howell Mill Road just before 7am and multitasking at Mr C's the night before, as patrons played trivia and watched the Saints prevail over the Patriots while eating meatloaf.

- Later in the day at the printing company, a young man with a dream walks in to inquire how to go about getting his pastels made into prints. It is fun to show him paper swatches and see his excitement as he imagines his artwork on linen or felt finish paper.

- At the end of the day, a few doors down from Mr C's, calling on new customers to show them a proof of their newsletter before we print it. They are very young, and bright and shiny as new pennies. They say that they appreciate that we gave them the time of day when they called in, and how nice we were to them on the phone. Nice is easy, I say.

Pastel on felt sounds sumptuous!

There's a lot of action at Mr. C's!

I think excellent customer service will be the next "big thing" because customer service has really dropped in quality in the last few years. So even when you're doing what comes naturally, it will be a stand-out feature.

I love how you can help people turn their creative dreams into reality.

And like Talon says, it's great your workplace treats people well and not take clients for granted.

Nice may be easy, but a little extra stays a long time in the hearts of your customers, I bet :)

I love your description of the artist's face alight with wonder as he envisions the possibilities for his dream to come true. Lovely.

Ah the good old days of pastel drawings. I used to love drawing in pastels.

Nice to hear about some good old fashioned customer service too! Although I think Americans are better at that than the British!

Is there anything more beautiful than linen canvas??? Well, most probably yes, but right now I can think of nothing to match it sumptuous promise.

Talon -

The customer service is what keeps people coming back. We treat clients like family.

Jewel -

I love that part of my job so much.

Meredith -

I'm glad I conveyed his excitement. I left him to ask a question about the size prints we can scan in-house and when I came back he was delighted with the felt paper in the stack.

Riot Kitty -

Mr C's was very specific in their list of activities for Monday night. :) Sans pants might have fit - you never know.

Joe -

We need to see some of your drawings...

Jannie -

Linen is my most favorite paper - I love the artisan like quality of it.

"Nice" isn't always easy!
Patriots and Saints was a good game :)

You are probably right, but we try. I can't say that I follow pro football, although I am certain to jump on the bandwagon if the Falcons end up in the playoffs. :)

After the Pats fiasco in the Big Easy, there were alot of depressed folks at my work!
Paper materials can bring art to a new level, I bet you're good at picking the proper look.
Nice isin't as easy to find as it used to be...

I am sure - I wondered if you are a Pats fan.

Paper is a tricky thing. The most unique paper has to come from the mill and costs more. But so worth it when it brings printed material to a whole new level.
