Lucky Day, le sigh and parcel

- It's the simple things... :)

- A woman with a distinctly French last name, who is incredibly busy, ends an email with a smile and "le sigh..."

- After a particularly long day, arriving home to find a parcel waiting at the front door. I love parcels. It was only the sea salt I ordered, but I get a little thrill when I receive a parcel in the mail.

For me, that would be a lucky day. Especially if someone else would make the meatloaf while I watched NASCAR!

Mama Zen -

So you should come on up to Mr C's! :) I don't follow NASCAR, but did see lots of cars crashing on news stories, so knew something was up. It's amazing to me that those folks don't get hurt more than they do.

Goodies in the mail is always so fun!

Comfort food and car racing? For some people that is heaven!

Mr C's sign is good for a photo at least once a week. Not sure why they focus on the comedic properties of meatloaf, but no other special of the week gets that treatment. :)

Packages are so much fun. And my kitty is always right there with me - so interested in what's in the box.

Lynn, you'll laugh but we have a cardboard box in the kitchen that is a permanent fixture. It's Missy's favorite hangout. She plays in there every day with foil balls. Yeah, my animals are spoiled :)

hehe, love the sign "meatloaf and NASCAR!" And "le sigh" -- what a delightful way to end an email. Perfectly charming! :)

I love receiving parcels in the mail, too -- especially when they contain books. I don't think I could ever have too many books!

Cathy -

It's the little bit of mystery that I like - even if I ordered it.

No laughing here! Sophie's favorite hangout is the Pampered Chef bar pan box that I tossed on the floor five years ago to take to the garbage. She adopted it as a perch, so it has remained on the living room floor.

Charming is a good word to describe my client. I could never have too many books either - they are stacked everywhere. :)
