- That pot on the left is affectionately known to me as my "weedy pot." Every year I just let it be and see what comes up and something always does. This is the second year I've grown a maple tree and a pine seedling. I pulled them out last spring and they just came back again. For someone with no green thumb, I somehow managed to produce two trees. Maybe I'll see if there's some regular ground they can go in somewhere at some point.
- This is how weedy pot looked last January during the week we Atlantans called "Snowpocalypse." :) It's hard to believe six months have already gone by.

How funny mahonia -- Mahone Bay being the place in Canada we have that house. great renters now. Speaking of 6 months -- not one call from the cops in Mahone Bay since the new tenants. Well, actually 9 months now, I think. Previous ones did seem to get into lots of brawls. Upstairs / downstairs peeps not getting along at all.
And yes, I do believe, real ground shall one day accept your two trees, and great novels of epic and sweet proportion will hence be written about you and those trees!! I feel it in my bones.

The weeds that come up in my undone pots on the deck are always CocksComb, Marsh grass, bog Moss, n New York Asters. I have alot of pots, so usually leave one of each.
If only the plants I pay for could reproduce like that!
