Rain, curl and laughter

- So much rain during the night making my hair curl right back up from the humidity during early morning watering of porch sheltered plants.

- Spotting a website, Naturally Curly.com. The "Queen of Curl" will answer your questions. I say, let the curl go free and call it a day.

- During a telephone visit with my still-hospitalized father, mom and sister Brenda's laughter in the background.

Well, I did not know you have curly hair. You're such a one of mstery to me, Lynn. Except for your lovely heart, of course, which is always on display.

And why couldn't I have curly hair too?? boo hoo.

Sorry about your dad, but great to hear of the laughter.

Yes - naturally curly except I have strangely straight bangs. So - I smile that you perm yours - my hairdresser has suggested that before. I always sort of wanted straight hair - the grass is greener...

And hank you - you have a lovely heart, too!

Dad is improving, but on the road to recovery. I felt a pang when I heard them laughing and wished I could be there, too. They are about 2 hours away - so I'll go back Friday afternoon.

I'm laughing - we always want what we don't have...

And then I wonder if we could have a body and body parts exchange area where we could trade stuff would we end up happy with the new look or would we suddenly realize we were pretty well constructed to start off with.

Yes, there's something about hearing shared laughter that you're not participating in that tugs the heartstrings...

Talon - I suspect we would think we were pretty well constructed to begin with, as you say.

And laughter - the best medicine.

Yet another little snippet that shows just a teeny bit more of you.

Thanks for sharing.

Good morning G - thank you for stopping by and I hope you had a happy birthday!

The hair - I even chemically straightened it once. My hairdresser likes to flatiron it. But I just tend to let it have its way now.
