Peace on earth, festive and tradition

- Christmas morning in the country. Lovely and peaceful.

- Lucky, gamely wearing his Christmas garb. Later, he took a long snoring nap in my lap.

- This ornament showing a house surrounded by cows that I gave my sister and her husband the first Christmas they were in their new home on their farm property. It makes me happy that it graces the tree every year since.

Isn't that just like, the dreamiest dream property your sister has, I remember the aerial photo of it.

Gorgeous!!

It's like another world - I love going there. My niece works across the road at a private quail hunting plantation - we rode around there some yesterday morning and I commented that it was like the old South, with its "big house," stables, kennels, surreys, etc.

Nice place, if you can get it.

Remember that old jazz standard song, "Nice work if you can get it. And you can get it if you try!"

I guess so - but, after all, I am a city girl and love my pavement. :)
