Tall People, food blogger (not) and Crackle

- This sculpture by a French artist at the reception desk of the fine art dealer has a fancy French title, but I just call it "Tall People."

- My favorite food blogger in France, David Lebovitz, announces a Food Blogger Camp and Free Trip Give-Away. That sounds like great fun to me and I excitedly prepare to enter for the free trip until I see that you have to be an actual food blogger and put a link to your food blog in the entry. Probably blogging about Snickers bars doesn't qualify. :)

- Three smiling daughters line up in front of their mother in birth order. We are like stair-steps in height, the youngest is 5'10", the middle is 5'6" and the oldest is 5'1". Mother points at us in turn and calls us "Snap, Crackle, Pop!"

Tall People is the exact right name for that sculpture, Lynn :)

Of course Snickers is a good group! It's time you informed the world~!

I love how your height differences go in reverse to age!

Jewel -

Hmmm - a Snickers post. I might just take that dare. :)

Yes - the world needs to know about the substitute lunch I call a Snickers bar.

It cracked me up that mother compared us to breakfast cereal. :)

Lynn -- I agree with Pink Ink. Go on and write about the unhealthy love we have for junk food.

Think all the fun junk food items you could talk about, like fried pickles and or go for the fried Snickers. Here's a recipe, http://www.recipezaar.com/Deep-Fried-Snickers-70068

You could write a few posts and then apply. By the way, I also loved the "snap, crackle and pop!"

I agree I think you should start a new blog including 100 different dishes using a Snickers Bar.

You could have called the sculpture "Thin People" but maybe that isn't so pc.

Thank you for stopping by! I saw deep fried candy bars in Scotland. I just can't imagine what that would taste like. Thanks for sharing the recipe. :) Hmmm - fried pickles. Now that might be good.

Joe -

Like Snicker Bar casserole, muffins, chopped up on a salad. Muffins. Hmmm.

And can I say that Snickers don't seem as big as they used to be? What's up with that? Hopefully the calories are smaller, too. :)

Of course I like the sculpture-
I don't think I've done any food posts lately, not since restaurant reviews done in June 2, 2005 regarding a trip to Martha's Vineyard. "Island Food Review" 1 n 2. I wonder if reviews would count...

So Mom fed you alot od Rice Krispies to get you to grow like that... lol

Mother always said that my older sister spit out her vitamins when she was a baby and that's why she is so short. :)

Well, now you've got your Kraft Dinner post!

DEEP FRIED CANDY BARS??!! I need to Google that!

So you're the youngest sister, right? Wait, no you'd have to be the middle one.

Gee, who knew this post would be a math word puzzle too??
