Cheryl Whitestone. Oil on Canvas. Proud Little Gardener
- A glorious day for a road trip to Madison, Georgia for a meeting. Blue skies and dazzling sunshine. The cultural center always has regional artwork for sale and I enjoyed this collection, entitled "Georgia in Bloom."
Cameron Hampton. Wax, grass, wire, pastel, plaster. Wild Boar
- This sleepy looking fellow looks for all the world like the real thing and graces the entrance to the center's shop. The best thing about the meeting today - coffee and a blueberry muffin served on the center's china.
Susan Pelham. Collage. Lazy River
- Images that truly capture the feel of middle Georgia. Reluctantly saying goodbye again and heading north, but leaving with a feeling of peace and well-being. And March - it went out like a lamb.

Oh my gosh, I just realized March is GONE. Went out like a lamb, for sure!
Sweet little girl. and wildlife. Scary wild boar! I've seen a couple documentaries on them in the South lately and they are nasty. Do you have them close to where you live? I sure hope not!

But it did come in like a lion - here anyway. Wild boars - I am not sure where they live. I live in the city, so hopefully they are far away from me! :)

The paintings are beautiful! Love the duck on the river!
March left as benignly as it began here, too, which has got to be an absolute record-breaking first!
I don't know where the wild boars are, but, if there are any in my neighborhood, I hope they are of this variety :)
That first painting is so sweet!
I agree with Mama Zen, the first painting is adorable.
I suspect you won't have to deal with wild boar anytime soon where you are, Lynn. ;) My mother told me some hair-raising tales of wild boar on an island where her family went to vacation in Florida, long before the development boom in the 50s.
March did go out like a lamb. :) Hurrah, April!
You've reminded me of a time, years ago when I was in Corsica with my partner. We were driving through some mountains and I threw a small piece of bread out of the window. Sudddenly all these wild boar appeared from nowhere, raced down the hill towards the car. You should have smelt the burning rubber from the car tyres. :D

I think that duck has a friendly look. And I am glad you having nice weather.
I know - wild boars are terrifying.
Mama Zen -
Doesn't she have a beautifully direct look?
Meredith -
We have the occasional raccoon, but thankfully no pigs. Ick.

My niece Rebecca and her boyfriend were camping on the shores of the Aegean sea in Turkey, when the area was suddenly filled with wild boars. They had to climb a tree to get away from them. It was a remote area and apparently they had smelled their food. :)
That boar sculpture is a bit creepy. March went out like a bitch here, but it's nice today.

I know - it is creepy, but kind of cool artwork at the same time.
So April should be a better month. Let's hope!
Love them!

Thanks my friend!
Interesting artwork again! You're so lucky you get out to all these places to see it! Not too Boaring... strange sculpture-
Have I mentioned my internet has been knocking me offline alot this week?
Snaggle -
It is true - I do get to go to great places. I like that - not too "boaring." :)
I did wonder where you were. Blogger has been acting up, too. Your Easter post didn't show up on my reader until a couple of days after you posted it.
