- Roller coasters at Six Flags Over Georgia rising above the trees. I drove to that area to pick up paper for work and watched the coasters for a moment from a closed down Garden Ridge parking lot nearby, where no trucks are allowed to park, but birds are.- Since I'm walking so much, giving into the lure of the still rather high calorie Wendy's Apple Pecan Chicken Salad. I enjoy this description: "Sink your fork into hand picked red and green apples, roasted pecans, sweet dried cranberries and real blue cheese crumbles. Then we add a tender grilled chicken and an all-natural pomegranate vinaigrette dressing for a sweet combination perfect for any meal." What word smithing someone did with this description! Still too many calories, but I do love it. And I feel so special that someone hand picked the apples for the salad. :)
- And the relief when my three-mile walk at Stone Mountain Park in intense 5pm heat was over.

Okay, I'm willing to suffer the consequences of eating a salad like that.
I thought all salads were low cal. :) I need to start walking again. REALLY need to do it. Thanks for taking me along on your walk.
Humm. That walk sounded hard! I think we are supposed to have very warm temps for a few days! I made a grilled chicken salad like that at home recently...with chicken made on the grill; cut smallish and peppered with lots and lots of pecans and cranberries; home made balsamic vinagrette dressing and add goat cheese...I know where you are coming from. It is a refreshing and a delicious 'summer' salad! Makes me want more...

Sounds like you earned the salad! I love roller coasters. It has been way too long since I've been on one.
Trucks may have blocked the coaster view! Wonder how much a day pass there is now. Sounds like a yummy salad- wish I could chew, I miss nuts. Now I wonder if there's an apple-picking machine? Sounds like a hot walk!

The print business is on the decline in general. This company used to do tons more business - I think people aren't printing as much as the used to - opting instead for online publications, etc.
I have a few faithful accounts and one of those is a huge one. So I'm managing to avoid financial disaster, but just barely. :)

I love roller coasters, too. I wouldn't mind going to Six Flags again sometime (my ex-company used to have its picnics there), but maybe when it cools down - like October.
