There are days when a beautiful picture post is just the right place to be. Today, that day and your peaceful pictures made me take a very welcomed sigh of contentment.
You really do take lovely pictures. I wish you'd remind people to click on them and see them enlarged. That picture of the river is stunning:~)
The next door neighbor made some stone steps to the water there and he sits and fishes now.

Thank you for the suggestion - I went back and added the "click to enlarge" suggestion. That shot did come out nice. It was an overcast morning and perfect for walking around with my camera.
I'm so glad my post gave you a few minutes of contentment.
Wow, Lynn, your' camera is so great! Nice and sharp even when double magnified. I never have to be reminded to enlarge yours, I love seeing the detail.
That flower looks like a pentas?
-- with love from The Prodigal Blogger. :) Actually cooking up a poem by that name.
Hello Prodigal Blogger - you always have a home here!
My camera is just a point and shoot Canon digital, but I did just recently start using some of the features, such as the Macro setting. That photo amazed me when I saw it - I think it's more the camera than me. :)
Friend Kim T. thinks it is a Joe Pye Weed flower - she says butterflies love them.

I hear that it is a Joe Pye Weed flower. It's beautiful in person, too.

Did you get to go fishing and did you catch any fish?
Lovely scenery to view along the way.
Bet that bunny could tell some stories about the sisters:)
Lovely photos Lynn. Looks like one could raft or tube there.

No - my dad used to fish in that spot though - so I think of it as his "fishing hole." Lots of fly fisherman out there at different times.
That bunny was probably shaking its head over the laughing over RummyKube. We love that game.

Lots of people go by on tubes and kayaks. Some rafts.
That looks like a fine place to drop a line!

I know. :) And thank you.
the river looks a bit high. Never seen those blossoms before!
Maybe the bunny is beginning to sport the white winter coat they get up North here!
Snaggle -
Could be. And they open the floodgates of the dam once a day and the river rises then.
