- The artisan work involved in creating this big cat near the entrance to the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center. I admire the work that went into this piece, but do not understand the fabric element at the bottom, however I find that it sends me away thinking about it.- A fellow committee member is a whiz at tying scarves in creative ways. She has fixed my scarf for me more than once. At a meeting last night, she demonstrates again using me as a model. I tell the group that I am scarf-tying impaired and that it is just not my gift.
- Friend Leisa comes over and helps me repair my dining room chair. OK - she did the whole thing. She is a repair wizard. Thanks friend!

She is a great friend. I was intimidated by the little project. My sometime house cleaner was sort of over-zealously dusting and part of the wood snapped off. This furniture is a prized possession because it belonged to my grandparents, so I pitifully begged her help. She is very talented.
I don't get the fabric element either.

I even have a pamphlet that shows in detail how to tie scarves and I can't seem to do it. So I end of looping right over left and left over right. :)
I am scarf-tying imapried too. I was just never able to label my disorder before reading your post.
The sculpture is interesting. I was wondering the same thing, way the bag underneath...

But I think it's so wonderful to have friends who can help us, as your scarf-whiz and repair-whiz friends did. I have a friend, who now lives in Texas, who's a hair up-do whiz, and boy, do I miss her skills!

I do think that's a great cat- maybe "who let the cat out of the bag?" Is it a fabric bag?
I've only worn scarvess at a few weddings. I can do a man's tie, also. I don't dress up much. Work ruins clothes every day.
I like to fix things, n having time to do it is even better!

Now that's a thought. :) I wear a lot of solid black - it's just what I wear and scarves tend to make it look more interesting. Sure wish I could tie them like Anne!
