Happy accident, missed and there you are

- Leaving a client's office, I think I push the elevator button for L (Lobby level), but somehow end up at LL (Lake level). A happy accident. I always love this spot with the flowering bushes and the reflection of trees in the water.

- A madly fluttering creature in the Knock Out roses eluded my quiet intrusiveness. Missed again. :)

- Ah. Thank you for pausing long enough so I could get your photo, butterfly. You are beautiful.

That is gobsmacking, Lynn. I would so eat my lunch there, and settle on the grass with a good book...

Shay -

This one was so busy - as if it couldn't decide the best flower to light on. I needed a few minutes to slow down and this was it. :)

Tony -

I love that word gobsmacking! That would be a great spot for a picnic. It is near my house and accessible when the building is closed by walking around the back. I should take a book there.

I don't think I've ever been in an elevator that has LL for 'Lake Level.' Wow Lynn; that sure is way cool!

Have a groovy day Miss Lynn!

I wish every building had a lake level! Stunning! And what a beautiful capture! The butterfly clearly posed for you!

One of my favourite things about our home in AZ is the lake. Not as green and beautiful as this one, but there is something wonderful about being near water. I'm sure the butterfly agrees too.

What a gorgeous spot and great happy accident!

What a joyful little "mistake" you made, Lynn. That butterfly was having fun flirting with you and your camera. And I think it must be lovely to work in a building with this view for much-needed mental space and breaks. :)

You're so sweet, even the butterflies pose for you. :)

I love happy, fortunate accidents, "serendipity," and those sorts of things.

I love your photos!

A client’s LL has flowers galore
Down around the lake view floor
Creatures fluttering in the air
Sensed ye and camera were there
One was kind and on a flower did light
For thine pleaser and complete delight

This one was short today.
I be thinking thee take thy camera everywhere ye travel.

Whoa, gorgeous place!

And did you break into Joe Cocker voice to start singing to that butterfly that it was so beautiful to you?? :)

Lovely and refreshing, Lynn. I would use a snippet of one of these pix in a sidebar link for you, definetly! Next time.

I never knew LL meant Lake Level, but next time I see it on an elevator, I'm checking it out! Beautiful photos.

A very lovely happy accident. Many thanks for sharing, and considering I spent the past day going through computer rage (home alone version) this was a welcome pick-me-up.

Sometimes I've been on an elevator and wished there was an H button for Home. :) I guess that is unique to that building LL for Lake Level.

Talon -

My doctor's office building is right next door, so I see that lake view when I'm getting mammograms. Cool, huh? Not the most fun thing, but definitely a bonus to have a good view.

Joe -

I remember that gorgeous lake view you shared with us of the house in AZ.

Mama Zen -

And I had it all to myself right then - except for the fluttering creature. :)

Meredith -

That accident was probably just what I needed just then - my head was full of what I had to do next. It was nice to take a few minutes and flirt with the butterfly. :)

Ily -

Thank you, Chica! I love serendipity, too.

Ellis -

Short, but I like it! Yes - I always have my Canon digital camera with me. It is small and fits in my big bag.

Jannie -

I didn't - but maybe next time. xo

Sage -

I wonder if LL for Lake Level exists anywhere else? I hope so.

G -

I am so glad you got a pick me up from my post and I hope your computer issues are history.

A happy accident indeed! Amazing you got the butterfly.

Riot Kitty -

I ended up just standing still and hoped it would come back. And sure enough - it landed right in front of me. Standing still was the thing.
