Privacy screen, delicious and pretty in pink

- My new rolling planter that affords a little privacy (while sitting down anyway) from the back porches of neighbors. I am pleased as punch with it. The butterfly plant hanger on the lattice is from my parents' home.

- Eggplant Parmesan. It took too long to make and the oven heated up the kitchen too much, but it was delicious. Should have taken a picture of it, but couldn't wait to eat it. :) It's for lunch all week.

- Friend Ginny's granddaughter - all done up in pink for church. She proudly shows me her pink purse, Hello Kitty bracelet, an enormous pink stone ring and her stuffed unicorn.

Hey Lynn! I am the first to comment. Wish you were my more 'immediate' neighbor here...I could bring you some eggplant from the garden. I will try and photograph a pretty plant (for you :-) ) As a result, we too, had eggplant parmesan last night! Nice planter. Off to pick up my mother from the airport for a little over a weeks visit (and my niece.)
Have a wonderful day girl! You deserve one. Yeah; the oven heat up thing in the summer is rough. Good way to loose extra water weight, though. ha! (Leaving to put on my Hello Kitty outfit, now.)

Okay I want a rolling planter. Actually I want a couple of them. Just like a kid, "I want, I want, I want".

The exact reason I haven't cooked my egg plant yet. Every recipe calls for the oven and it does heat our house up so much. Looking for a good microwave recipe.

All girls are "pretty in pink" at any age.

This is cute! It inspires me to do more plant action on our newly railed deck, which is getting done today!

Hi Lynn. I made eggplant parm for dinner yesterday, too. Way hot but so good. Love the privacy screen/plant. Pretty.

I never go to church without a stuffed unicorn!

I would love having eggplant from your garden, but the photo will be good, too.

Oh - I hope you really do have a Hello Kitty outfit! :)

I liked that film. :)

Granny Annie -

I was looking for something to cover that opening and this is not as tall as I had envisioned, but still OK if I'm sitting down. The very nice new neighbor in the next building keeps coming out on his deck when I am just wanting to sit and read out there. (Except that the humidity is so bad - who wants to?) And this solution seemed a little less off-putting than putting a pull-down shade up.

Cirklagirl -

Hey there. I'm glad I could inspire you. :)

I want to try your recipe, too. This one was sooo good.

Mama Zen -

I'd like to see that. :)

The fern looks gorgeous in the planter and could you pass some of that eggplant parm through the computer screen? :)

Lynn,

You create such wonderful visualizations, like the one about your friend's daughter. I could see her...all in pink...well done:~)

I like the rolling planter. It looks very nice and so does the butterfly.

And she *should* be showing off Hello Kitty. Hello Kitty is awesome!

I started passing it through the screen, but then turned it around and put it in my mouth. :) I think it was even better the next day for lunch.

That butterfly planter was something I spotted from the street at a now defunct plant nursery I used to pass when I was going to school a few years ago. I thought mom would like it and she did. I got it back when we started taking the stuff out of the house to sell.

Isabella is the girliest little girl I know - she has a head full of glossy black curls, too.

Riot Kitty -

I like Hello Kitty, too! :)

My screens aren't neatly so fancy (usually hanging laundry or towels). Very pretty.
I haven't made eggplant parm since last year when some one gave me one they grew. It is labor intensive!
Pretty in pink is always terriffic on pretty little ladies. Am early color passion, tho so gender-society based.

It was labor intensive - I might try the frozen eggplant next time that Ily mentioned.

Gorgeous privacy screen. I'd be pleased as punch too!! So cute, I like the moveable aspect of it.
