Snowjam 2010, funner menu and daily laughs

- Mr C's gives a tongue in cheek nod to the freak snowfall we had on Tuesday. It started around 10am and ended in mid-afternoon. The rain washed most of it away by the evening. But it is our third snowfall of the year and we do get excited by it.

- This gave me a bit of a chuckle. The Nestle Crunch hotline at 1-800-295-0051 has gotten a bit of internet buzz, so I called it. Call the number and when asked if you want to continue in English or Spanish, just wait. That’s when you’ll get a third option. :) Then just follow the trail by pressing 4 … then 7. It’s their "funner" menu.

- The operations manager at the printing company thanks me for giving her daily laughs. I cannot think what it is I do to be funny, so that is what makes it a good thing, I suppose. :) I will send her the Nestle Crunch hotline today.

Love the sky in the background of the photo.

It's always good to make people laugh, even if it's at you rather than with you! Ok maybe that's not true. :D

Joe -

That was taken yesterday morning at 7:15am. I love the pink clouds.

Yes - it is better to assume that the laughing is friendly and in her case, most definitely.

Now I'm trying to figure out WHY Nestle has a hotline for their Crunch bar - lol! I'll try to keep the "funner" menu in mind next time I'm caught in "please press" hell!

Isn't it nice to make someone's day brighter?

I was in "please press" hell the other day when I was trying to call about my phone service. It was funny because it kept telling me to "be patient." And then when I finally got someone on the line, we got cut off.

It is nice to do that. :)

LOL at the Nestle Crunch hotline!! And the fact that you called it! I'll have to call and get the Spanish version...

Ah, please press hell. We all know them and love to hate them. It's good to see a company that recognizes how ridiculous the whole thing is and is enjoying a little self-deprecating humor as a result. I'll definitely have to check that out.

When I was in my early 20s I did the phone recordings for a well-known Atlanta business, and I cringe every time I think of it now, that my voice is the voice of hell for so many. :O (I heard they were still using it as of the early 2000s.)

Riot Kitty -

But make sure you choose option 3 that comes after the Spanish - that's when the "funner" menu starts.

Meredith -

I guess it is necessary, but I am so happy when I don't have to go through that phone system thing.

You must have a nice voice!

Thanks for visiting my blog today. It's a joy to look at yours too. I guess I'm going to have to break down and call the Nestles Hotline because others have also recommended it.

Granny Annie -

I see you and your comments on my friends' blogs and thought I would just come by to visit. I'll be back and I loved your blog header. Quite lovely.

Lance -

I'm glad - the best way to start a day is with laughter!

The sky in your photo is beautiful colors! You should print that one out n give it to Mr C!
I hate making automated phone calls, but maybe that one will be fun... Do I have to talk to an actual person at some point?

Perhaps the print mngr gets a lift from your upbeat attitude? You must exude light-heartedness? Maybe he can sense you just read Jannies blog!?

Thanks Snaggle - that was post-snow sky - a rarity here in the south.

No - dial it up and listen - you don't have to talk to anyone, it is just for fun. You would be able to get right through in the middle of the night.

Yes - I am lighthearted most of the time. :)
