Rainy night, laughing on the outside and mint

- A rainy night in Georgia. Ahhh - I finally used that line. It rained all day, too, the kind of rain that you can hear from a windowless cubicle. There were mad dashes from car to buildings all day, umbrellas not helping all that much. I love it though and we needed it.

- Seen on a concrete post in the parking deck of Georgia Public Broadcasting: someone has written $949.00 on a black smudge and circled it.

- Two employees having a laughing fit when I come around the corner. Her: "He threw candy at me and hit me!" Me: "What kind of candy?" Her: "These. (Opening drawer.) Do you want one?" Me: "Yes." I take my wrapped mint and go. It was pretty good, even after having being through warfare.

She doesn't seem to have minded the candy barrage. ;-)

So, the smudge is modern art?

We all have a mutual love of candy. :) I'm making a candy run at lunchtime.

Someone hit that concrete pillar with their car and I am sure that means that it cost $949 to fix it damage to their car.

Mmmm...I'd take the candy too!!

And I love a rainy night (wow, that sounds very Eddie Rabbit -ish)...

I wonder if the price tag includes the building or just the post?

Now candy is just about the best weapons you could have! :)

I wish that I was getting that rain!

Ha! You do sound like Eddie Rabbit! :)

Yes - if they are going to throw stuff at each other, then it's best that it is candy. :)

I had a long look at chocolate when I went to Wal-mart at lunch, but ended up getting the cinnamon discs that we all like. Lower in calories, too. Whatever.

Thank you for my poem! A good wrap-up and I did walk away with the spoils of the battle. :)

Mama Zen -

I think it has stopped now - we are having a lovely day. The air is clean and fresh as spring.

Ah, you have beautifully described a rainy day. Hoping we get some soon.

I won't pay a penny more than $948.99 for that post!

Candy? Candy? You know I like candy. I really like twizzlers and candy canes that have been kept in a dry place for at least 12 months, with 24 months giving the optimum aged consistency! Mints are good too, tho -- the older and chewier and more warfared, the better. ;) Ummmm.

It's funny how people go into pani mode whenever there's a rain storm.

Love the rain, kind of makes things smell fresh (even in the city).

Great photo...I wouldn't mind a candy barrage if it contained Snickers bars.

Great song, nice photo!

Hope all is well, heard something about a storm there- Glad you got much needed rain.
Expensive smudge altight!
Lucky you get to eat at work- Not too good for the diabetics tho! If only real wars could be solved by throwing candy!

lol Alright!

Jannie -

Isn't it great how candy seems OK year after year? My current favorite are the low calorie cinnamon discs that can be purchased in the candy aisle of Walmart. And only $1 per bag.

G -

I love a good storm, but don't like having to run through it when lightning is about.

RK -

A Snickers fight! I like the sound of that. Maybe with those miniatures.

Sage -

I believe that is our state song now. And thanks. :)

Altight and Alright! More material for your typos. :)
